I was approached by the Today Show two weeks ago and invited to work on a collaboration project to produce a video for grieving dads and Father’s Day. Of course I accepted the invitation and we developed a script based on the words from my book Grieving Dads: To the Brink and Back.
I wanted to share it here on my blog on Father’s Day because I know many of you who follow my blog have yet to see the video. The video was released on Thursday and has been viewed over 2 million times by people all over the world.
It is a very personal project/video because it is the first time I’ve shared a photo of me and my son Noah and an ultra sound of my daughter Katie. The work I do to bring awareness to what grieving dads go through continues to grow. I am honored to be able to bring a voice to the very real pain men also feel when their child dies.
Wishing all of you a peaceful Father’s Day.
